Help us kick off Summer Read with Mini Golf in the Library! Bring your family and friends for this fun activity throughout the week! Holes will be designed and set up by library staff.
Life Size Memory Game

Test your memory in this fun, life-size matching game! Players take turns flipping over giant cards to find matching pairs. Play head-to-head, family versus family, or drop in anytime for a quick challenge. Great for kids and families of all ages!
Charleston Food Forest Tour

Learn about the history of the Charleston Food Forest and the concepts of
permaculture it demonstrates. The Charleston Food Forest currently has 26 fruit and nut trees and more than 50 fruit bushes growing, along with many perennial vegetable plants. We will learn about permaculture and its benefits, followed by a guided tour pointing out the many species of edible plants growing in the forest. Discover what you can grow in this region! Dress for the weather and walking shoes are recommended.

Read to a Therapy Dog

All Ages, parents/caregivers must be present for the duration of the session.
Practice your reading skills by cuddling up with a good book and reading
aloud to a fully trained and certified therapy dog. The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program. Readers can bring a book from home or choose one from the library.
