Summer Read Food Drive

June 1 - July 31, 2024 


ALL FOOD WILL BE DONATED TO THE CHARLESTON AREA CHURCHES FOOD PANTRY. 

Refrigerated Items Accepted

Refrigerated items such as milk and butter will gladly be accepted!  The Library has an available fridge to store fresh items until we deliver to the Food Pantry.   ​ 

Accepted items: unexpired & unopened

  • Tuna 
  • Canned Vegetables  
  • Ravioli
  • Pork and Beans                     
  • Instant Potatoes
  • Peanut Butter                             
  • Canned Soup    
  • Crackers 
  • Tomato Juice                        
  • Cereal/Oatmeal  
  • Canned Fruit            
  • Canned Evaporated Milk          
  • Pasta Sauce 
  • Macaroni and Cheese                            
  • Pasta 
  • Toilet Paper                                 
  • Baking Soda    
  • Fresh garden fruits and vegetables are also welcome! 

The Charleston Food Pantry would also gladly accept direct monetary donations anytime that can be mailed to:
