Take & Make: Mystery Crafts

  June 1—July 31

Ages 3-12 

One craft per child, while supplies last. 


Take & Make will feature a variety of seasonal crafts! Crafts will vary through the summer. Supplies you may or may not need at home: safety scissors, glue, and crayons/colored 

pencils/markers, but other embellishments may be used as desired. Parental supervision is advised. Instructions are 

included. 

Story Time at the Library

  Story Time at the Park is switching to Story Time at the Library due to an overwhelming amount of cicadas at the park!

Join Chris at the Library and help him answer the world’s most important questions. Questions like: What is the best bat? Can grandparents? and Tacos??? With the aid of books, songs, and crafts, can we find the answers to these burning questions?!?!

It’s been a long time coming! Join us for an afternoon of Taylor Swift music, crafts, and fun. Make a friendship bracelet to keep or trade with your friends. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. All supplies will be provided. 

Switch on a Game

  Available to play in the KidSpace area

Ages 8-17, under 8 must play under supervision of adult, caregiver, or high schooler


Stop by KidSpace and Switch on a Game on the 

Library's Nintendo Switch! Bring some friends or make some new ones here while playing games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Party Superstars, and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate! Be prepared to take turns and keep the competition friendly! 


The Switch will only be available for use outside of school hours/days set by Charleston School District or during a library-sponsored program and will be shut down 30 minutes before the Library closes.
